Palms Trax returns to his own CWPT label for their first single since 2021, ‘One Thousand Waves’, featuring French songwriter and producer, Myd.

Written and recorded between Berlin and Paris, and later completed at Phillipe Zdar’s legendary Motorbass studio, ‘One Thousand Waves’ captures Palms Trax, aka Jay Donaldson, in fresh, pop-oriented pastures, while reinforcing the emotive musicality that has earned him a role as one of club culture’s most beloved aficionados.

Having previously collaborated with Mac DeMarco and L'Impératrice on his 2021 solo album ‘Born A Loser’, Myd proves to be a perfect foil for the rich, vivid synth pop emerging from Palms Trax’s studio. His yearning vocal performance invites listeners and slow dancers to lean in on a track that conjures shades of classic Parisian electro amid a foundation of bittersweet balearica, building to an explosion of cathartic percussion from guest drummer, Antoine Bourachot.
